At just fifteen years old, he landed his first job as an engineer in Hialeah (Florida, USA), at a company called EDS-IDAB, an engineering and manufacturing firm specializing in newspaper conveyor automation equipment — the foundation of our Personal Rapid Transit System with Suspended Aerial Cable technology. In fact, it’s the very same technology as the newspaper automation system, except that instead of moving bundles of newspapers, it moves people and cargo. The basic idea is the same, but we’ve added the benefit of forty years of technological advancement. And, more importantly, it is now extremely affordable (especially considering the cost of roads) thanks to the dramatic drop in the cost of all electronics.
Another key member of our team, already mentioned, is our mechanical engineer, Ramsey Yunan, a former engineering professor at Rutgers and a mechanical engineer with more than 40 years of experience.
